Rain Rain - please come and water my garden!

Welcome to another Wonderful Wednesday challenge at Craft with Cutters (My Paper Crafting).

The theme this week is Rain - something we are very short of here in New Zealand after a fabulously warm and dry summer and a possibly dry Autumn to look forward to.

To make this card, I used the Paisley Cartridge to make the umbrella, which I layered on the card using foam dots.

The background layer was made by using a scalloped die cut circle as a template and gently rubbing weathered wood distress ink around the edges of the template to create clouds. (Technique from StampTV here)

I then stamped the SMILE on this layer using watermark resist ink and embossed with black embossing powder.

I cut a layer of black card to go under the cloudy layer then attached them to the base card.

We hope you will go over to the challenge and enter this week. It will run for two weeks again.
