More 3D projects
The roses are cut in several parts then rolled and folded and joined together on a piece of dowel. I used thick bamboo skewers instead of dowel (just because I had them already!) and attached the rose heads to the skewers. I cut the leaves from green Kaisercraft cardstock and attached them when I wound the "stems" with green florist tape.
The bucket in which the roses are sitting is also included as a cutting file in the set.
It is a neat gift as the bottle actually opens up in the centre and you can fill it with all sorts of goodies.
There is a hole in the top of the bottle and a cork from a wine bottle fits perfectly!
There are small holes covered with vellum all around the bottom part of the bottle and you could put a battery tea-light inside it as a decoration.
Check out the wonderful cutting files available from SVG Cuts by clicking on the button on the right hand side bar. Every week, Mary and Leo offer a free cutting file that you can use for your projects. This week, there is a gorgeous frame for a 6"x4" photo. The files can be cut with any cutter that can cut svg files using a program such as Sure Cuts a Lot3 or Make The Cut. Other cutters that use their own programs may have the ability to import an svg file, so check your software. The Cricut will not cut svg files unless you have the SCAL2 version.
