Books!

Back again with another challenge from the CWC Wonderful Wednesday Challenge. The theme for this week is Book!

I wanted to do something about reading as my wee 13 month old grand-daughter loves reading books and will spend ages sitting on the floor with her books or getting Grandma to read to her - usually the same book about 5 times a day!!

This is a door hanger that I found on the My Community Cartridge. I cut the hanger 8.5 inches high and cut three layers to make it stronger.

On the top layer, I added the words using Lyrical Letters and attached the layer onto a pink layer so the words would show through. I added some glitz to make them sparkle.

The book in the centre of the hanger is also on the My Community cartridge and I stamped the pages with a word stamp to make it look like there was something to read!

I finished it off with some little butterflies cut with a die and layered together, adding some glitz to the top layer of each wing.

Please do join us over at CWC Wonderful Wednesday this week and link up your book themed project. You have plenty of time to do it!

This is adorable, I'm sure she'll love it! The colors are great. I think it's cool that you stamped the words to work like they did. I thought you had cut it from paper. Nice!!
