Altered Journal

The theme for this week's PCW challenge is Altered Journal.

I have a notebook that I keep by the computer for jotting things down, so I decided it needed a new look!

I cut the birdcage and flowers from the  Flowers and Birdcage set available here.

For the background, I used a couple of papers from a freebie set in a magazine that I had stashed away. The bottom layer was a green colour and I overlaid that with the yellow after punching the dragonflies with a corner punch.

To finish it off, I added some colourful ribbons to the binding of the notebook!
